Commissions

4 min read

I am casually open for commissions. I take $30 for a portrait and $45 for a full figure, with a possible addition for extra stuff.

It's super super casial, which is why this is just a small post.

If you're interested, you can contact me here, or check the thread about it over at Wildstar Roleplay: www.wildstar-roleplay.com/foru…

As you may have noticed, I'm really not very good at doing journals.

But here we go anyway.

Considering starting up commissions to make money for FFXIV: ARR subscriptions for the husband and I, at least for a couple of months. Still mostly waiting for WildStar, but as that is being pushed back until Spring 2014 (which to be honest, I was expecting), we need something else to play in the meantime. I'm very much looking forward to the Everquest Next Landmark coming out this fall, that should be a lot of fun to play around with, and perhaps a good chance for a bit of roleplay.

Final Fantasy XIV was one of those games we got and quickly dropped again back when it first launched. While it' still not a game I see myself playing forever, I do think they have made a LOT of positive and impressive changes to the game, and it's now quite entertaining. I do love the character creation. While there's a limited number of options for most things, such as faces, the color variety and added flair means that you can create some very varied characters if you put a bit of thought into it.

What I'm not a huge fan of is that while a lot of the gear is very well designed, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of different sets, which is always a bit disappointing. The dye system is not very impressive either, but at least it lets you not run around as a clown... Most of the time. Because there's still stuff you can't dye, which I don't think I'll ever understand.

But yeah, to go back to commissions, it would probably be simple, full figure character display kind of things, for somewhere around 20-30 dollars. I'm very bad at figuring out how to price things, and part of me keep thinking "Don't kid yourself, why would anyone buy anything from you anyway?"
But even if I can just get enough for our subscriptions, that would be a plus currently. I guess we'll see.

Testing new journal skin and just fooling around... Trying to write my paper on Experience Design while still obsessing over WildStar. Woohoo.

I decided to get a Premium membership for a year, which much to my surprise, came with the ability to change my username once every 6 month.
So I decided to go with my Tumblr name, to create a better connection between the two. Ideally, I would have used Ender, but that was obviously taken, so EsperIncantations will work, at least for the next 6 months, then we'll see :D

Now to explore all the new features I have access to :D

So, I generally suck at doing journals.

But since the last one I did was insanely old and outdated, here's a new one.

The obsession at the moment is Carbine Studios and NCSoft's upcoming MMORPG, WildStar. It's cdefinitely worth a look if you haven't checked it already, and there will be plenty of fan art for it in my gallery.

In other news, the husband and I are working on moving to the US as soon as possible. This sadly means that my computer will get shipped sometime in the end of March, and I won't be able to do much art until we get over there. So boo for that.
